Film Centre Sarajevo
The Film Centre Sarajevo is a public company with a mission to preserve the tradition and heritage of film in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the development of the film industry and the audio-visual sector.
The strategic objectives of the Film Centre Sarajevo are the following:
• Preservation and protection of the largest catalogue of film content in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the 1945 -1992 period;
• Improvement of the film industry and audio-visual sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
• Improvement of public regulations with the objective of film industry development and harmonisation with positive European practices;
• Promotion of BH film and the whole industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, Europe and the world.The Film Centre Sarajevo is the legal successor of the former large public companies Bosna Film, Studio Film and Sutjeska Film from the period of the former Yugoslavia.

Film Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Film Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a public institution responsible for archival, research and screening activities. This institution keeps film materials and film documents of historical, artistic, cultural, educational and scientific significance.
The archive of domestic film preserves original films, film materials and film documents, including the first sound short feature film in Bosnia and Herzegovina, LOVE IN SARAJEVO, made in 1936. The rich collection of posters of domestic films includes the poster drawn by the famous painter Pablo Picasso for the 1972 film THE BATTLE OF THE NERETVA. The foreign film archive consists of over 700 foreign films and close to 6,000 different posters of foreign films.
The rich archive is used for educational and scientific purposes and provides great possibilities for research work for scientists, students and film lovers. The screening department of the Film Archive of BiH offers a regular film programme with a good selection of films, including old and nearly forgotten films.
The Film Archive of BiH is a member of the International Federation of Film Archives and the Association of European Cinematheques, performing all its activities in accordance with the code of ethics on copyright protection.

Sarajevo Film Fund
The Sarajevo Film Fund is established with the objective to provide funds to stimulate, develop and improve film creativity, film production and film entrepreneurship in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the film field, the Fund especially encourages and supports:
• film production,
• protection, preservation and presentation of archival materials and film documents,
• organisation of film events,
• filmmakers, institutions, professional associations,
• preservation and promotion of cultural values,
• scientific and research projects,
• publishing activities,
• education and professional development,
• international networking, cooperation and exchanges, and
• adaptation to technological and organisational changes, as well as the development of technical standards.The Sarajevo Film Fund supports feature films, documentary films, animated films, experimental films, student films, minority co-productions and regional cooperation.
